Took a break from Hold em and vacationing in Omaha

I have played much hold em this month.

I’m kind of tired of it right now but I have been playing some Omaha hi/lo and so far it’s been doing well for me.

Pot limit Omaha hi/lo is an interesting game. It’s a lot of action and I’ve been running hot so far. A lot of people chase the low in Omaha and that’s where I can do very well. I’m scooping pots when players chase their low hand, and when they miss, it’s a huge pot for me.

Then other times the other player thinks he has a good low hand because he thinks I’m playing for the high hand and I can scoop the pot there also.

But then maybe it’s just because I’m running hot. Sizziling hot.

So far I’ve played 650 hands of Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo and i’ve cleared $64.45.

That’s incredibly hot. So I’m sure it’s going to catch up with me sooner or later but until then I’m enjoying the sites in Omaha.

I’ll send you a postcard….

    Nicely done.

I really want to play some more PLO, but I find it hard to invest the time to study other formats at the moment, and being a bit of a bankroll nit, the high variance stings like hell.

Keep up the good work xxx

Same with me. I have deliberately made the decision to stick with NL, learn the one art well, build the bankroll, then when I have won millions, expand into other games lol!
